United States and Europe. We took this action to address our business and financial
challenges, to emerge from this process as a more focused, financially sound and

Throughout this process, we intend to use all of the resources at our disposal to continue

as we have sufficient liquidity to run our operations and restructure our business while
continuing to deliver innovation for our customers.
This process will put Nortel on sound financial footing once and for all, and to strengthen
the business for the future. During this process, we will remain focused on meeting your
needs.
